Catching up: Eclipse Photos

Wow! Its been 6 years since I've posted so let's start with the photos I got from my eclipse viewer. This is from an older phone so they might not look the best.

I don't know if that spot in the second to the last one was a breach in the box or something else. It didn't show up in all the photos.

The box did its job but a quick and dirty eclipse viewer is simply a colander and a clean sheet of paper or box

The last major eclipse passed through Texas earlier in 2023 but I was not at home. The quickest and easiest way to view the eclipse without glasses is to interlace your hands to leave small spaces. Then orient the sun to your back and project onto a smooth surface like concrete. I got to see a bit of the last one using that trick.

I'm looking forward to the one in April of 2024.

Happy Making,

Michelle
